On 21 and 22 November 2005 a workshop was held in Geneva, Switzerland, on the subject of "The dynamics of migrant diasporas:
comparing the Afghan and Somali experience". The workshop was co-organised by GCIM and the Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies.
